Brew Day Timeline - No Sleep Til Brookmeade

8:54 - Start brew day / clean and sanitize solo equipment

9:21 - Bottom of solo kettle assembled, began preheating water to 168F

9:48 - Turned the pump on through the controller but did not get any circulation. Pumped was cleaned, primed, and worked last brew day.

10:15 - Full disassembly of the pump, recleaned, retested multiple times.

11:03 - Contemplated new hobby. Called March Pumps Customer Service. They were awesome and got me back up and running.

11:13 - Brew day back on! Readded lost water from pump troubleshooting.

11:20 - Built a fire while I waited for the new water to reach strike temp (168F)

11:45 - Added 4 campden tablets for water treatment

12:00 - Began mash. 168 strike temp to 156 for 1 hour

12:20 - Issues keeping mash at the 156 mark, hovering closer to 154 for the first 15 minutes

1:00 - Mash done, up temp to 170 for mash out

1:06 - Mash out

1:16 - Vorlauf

1:26 - Set the controller to manual with 100% output

1:30 - After removing the basket, I noticed the water was below 5g. Added 1 gallon for the boil. Not sure what happened but we will see how it goes.

1:34 - Began fermenter prep

2:45 - Start Boil - Add challenger

3:35 - Add Fuggle and Lactose - killed heat (boil continues)

3:45 - Grinded and added coffee to the kettle

3:53 - Configure hoses and start whirpool

4:00 - Transfer and chill wort

4:03 - OG Reading 1.068

4:10 - Start brewery clean up while wort chills

4:30 - Pitch yeast at 68F
