My Favorite Colorado Springs Breweries

Every brewery on this list deserves its own in depth post, for now I will just rattle off my favorites with a few highlights. This list encompasses beer, food, atmosphere, entertainment etc. and not just my favorite beers.

The Top 10

  1. Bristol Brewing Company

    • Favorite Beer: Laughing Lab

    • Food Options: Multivendor kitchen (Don’t be fooled by the name, Decent Pizza is amazing!)

    • Favorite Features: Old school house, great staff, indoor outdoor space, free parking, plenty of live music and events, outdoor dog friendly.

  2. Metric Brewing

    • Favorite Beer: Limited release and rotating, it’s all good!

    • Food Options: Food Trucks

    • Favorite Features: Size, seating, dog friendly.

  3. Red Leg Brewing Company

    • Favorite Beer: West Coast IPA (Limited Release)

    • Food Options: Food Trucks

    • Favorite Features: Awesome new facility with multiple patios and outdoor lawn. Multivendor Conex area under construction.

  4. Cerberus Brewing Company

    • Favorite Beer: Devil in The Red Dress

    • Food Options: Dedicated kitchen (try the Rueben Rolls)

    • Favorite Features: Great outdoor area with a few fire pits.

  5. Pikes Peak Brewing Company (Lager House)

    • Favorite Beer: Blue Mesa Tropical Blonde

    • Food Options: Multivendor kitchen (COATI) connected through garage door.

    • Favorite Features: Rooftop Patio, proximity to COAT for live music and other downtown options.

  6. Fossil Craft Beer Company

    • Favorite Beer: Second Runnings

    • Food Options: Food Truck

    • Favorite Features: Dog friendly, big tables, bar backs right up to the brewery, not too big/crowded.

  7. Goat Patch Brewing Company

    • Favorite Beer: Hazy Unfiltered IPA

    • Food Options: Food Truck

    • Favorite Features: Also in an old school, a few neighboring spots to check out, tons of seating and a great staff.

  8. Phantom Canyon Brewing Company

    • Favorite Beer: Box Car / Dos Lunas

    • Food Options: Dedicated kitchen

    • Favorite Features: Great space downtown, pool tables up stairs, good patio and food.

  9. Brass Brewing Company

    • Favorite Beer: Blonde Stout (it rotates but when it is there, get it.)

    • Food Options: Popcorn, food trucks

    • Favorite Features: Dog friendly, tons of nightly entertainment, cool military theme.

  10. Rocky Mountain Brewery

    • Favorite Beer: Spirit Hill Amber / Eat A Peach

    • Food Options: Food Truck

    • Favorite Features: This one is off the beaten path, no website, no frills, just beer. Everyone knows everyone.
